Part 21: Kings Dominion 25th Anniversary Plaques

In 1999, I began working with the KD marketing department to create 18 plaques for the original rides still in use after 25 years, and even a few of the notable new rides. In 2000, the park's 25th anniversary, these plaques were mounted at the rides, and some remained for almost ten years.

Some of these have already appeared on this blog.

Some of the rides are no longer at the park, and some operate under a different name, but they still serve as an interesting glimpse of the park in 2000, especially for park trivia buffs
